Before I had kids I always worked out and thought I ate well. It was not until I started CrossFit and learned about food and nutrition that changed my life. Once I joined CrossFit I really started taking what I put into my body seriously. I wanted to be clean and healthy. After a few years of CrossFit, I decided it was time to start a family. I wanted to stay active during my pregnancy, so I did. I had two kids in two years and did CrossFit both pregnancies. I know working out and staying active absolutely helped me give birth and recover quickly.
I’m a natural and holistic Mama, so I knew I was going to breastfeed. I breastfed both of my girls until past 2.5 years old. However, while I was nursing I was always SO HUNGRY and THIRSTY. I could NOT stop eating and drinking water. It was insane. I was overweight, chubby and NOT happy with the way I look or felt at all. I couldn't take it anymore.
I decided to change: I am going to start a home gym and start working out 5 days a week. That was May 11, 2017, and I have not stopped since.
I made the decision to stay committed and here I am years later so happy and thankful I choose this path.
The working out part was a start, but I wanted to learn about plant based nutrition now. I became a vegan on my 40th birthday and could not feel better about this decision. Once I started learning about veganism, it had me hooked. I did not want to put acidic, low vibration foods into my body. Then I started learning about fruit and the power of fruit! It CHANGED MY LIFE.
I started drinking fruit smoothies every day in March 2018 and stuck with that until I started getting into juicing in December of 2019. In January 2020, I decided to juice every week of the year. I stuck to it and the results have been incredible. I’ve leaned out and made gains on my lifts. I look younger, feel younger, happier and I want you to feel like this too.
Now that I am a Certified Juicing Therapist I want to inspire, educate, and motivate people like you to get on this journey and choose this lifestyle.
